Rides & Slides
The whole family can sail away at the Ocean Breeze Waterpark. The Adventure River is the place to take it slow and steady. The family can grab a tube and slowly ride the waves as they take you through Hideaway Cove for a 10-minute downstream adventure full of waves and waterfalls. After a nice and easy ride down the lazy river go through some thrilling twists and turns on tubes down the water slides of Neptune’s Revenge. The Rides & Slides feature the curves and turns of the Sea Serpent or the 200-ft dark tunnel with the 50-ft drop that’s provided by Pirates’ Plummet and Walk the Plank.

Atlantic Fun Park has the Thrill Rides, Kiddie Rides, Family Rides, and Go-Kart Tracks, and all of those things perfectly explain why FUN is in the name of the park. The Thrill Rides are where you go when you don’t mind getting flipped, thrown, or spun around, adding The Flipping Action Arm Ride, Gravitron, Sea Dragon Swinging Ship, and Sling Shot to your to-do list is the best idea. The Go-Kart Tracks at Motor World are for those with the competitive spirit and the need for speed. There are over 10 tracks to choose from, and additional attractions to keep you busy in between races.

Take a moment to enjoy mother nature atThe Adventure Park at Virginia Aquarium where all adventures are in the trees. The park is located in the majestic trees of the Aquarium and the adventures include 15 trails, 21 zip lines, 200 challenge bridges, and 6 difficulty levels. All trails are color-coded and the difficulty level is up to you! The Labyrinth is the special section of the park for the kiddos between ages 5-10 so the climbing playing is safe and easy. Parks & Piers
Why not get your feet wet while you’re in town? During fishing season the Virginia Beach Fishing Pier opens for those who love to fish and for those who are just spectators. Don’t worry if you forgot your tools at home, they have you covered, rod rentals are available at the pier and there’s an on-site tackle shop. Some of the popular catches during the season vary from blue crab, bluefish, speckled trout, and more.

Neptune's Park is the picture-perfect way to spend a relaxing evening after walking the Virginia Beach boardwalk. The views of the beach are incredible and there’s an enormous King Neptune statue that you can’t miss because it’s 34-ft tall. The King Neptune statue is the centerpiece of the park and travelers stop by to take photos and even dance to the local bands who come and sporadically have performances in the park.

The Cape Henry Lighthouse is a piece of history in touring and exploring. It’s the first federally funded lighthouse and it's sitting right next to the first landing site for English settlers. You can go on a self-guided tour through the lighthouse tower and shop the gift shop when you’re done.
