Museums
The Museum of Science & History, aka the MOSH, specializes in science and exhibits about Jacksonville history. Some installations are only there for a limited time but there are core exhibits that are always in-house, like the interactive Health In Motion exhibit where you can learn about the body and its systems or Atlantic Tails where you’ll learn about the coastal creatures of Northeast Florida. Once you get your feet wet in the exhibits, you can take a trip into space at the Bryan-Gooding Planetarium. It’s the largest single lens planetarium in the US and it brings the night sky to life with multiple show times throughout the day.

Cummer Museum features art, gardens, and education in one place. When it comes to art, there are over 5,000 world-class art objects in the permanent collection and that doesn’t even include the pieces for the temporary exhibits. This museum holds one of the finest art collections in the Southeast. There are four gardens to explore, totaling 2.5 acres, and all with their own architectural style deriving for a specific era in time. The educational aspect will come as you explore the galleries and gardens. From creating self-portraits on a touch screen to viewing a chronological order of 30,000 years of history.

Burrito Gallery is JaxMex at its finest. It sits in historic Downtown Jacksonville and its mission is to serve the best tacos, burritos, and ‘dillas. You can grab anything from a curry chicken burrito to a delicious margarita, (which they claim to be the tastiest on this side of Mexico). If you want to keep it cool, try out the cucumber margarita or you can turn up the heat with the spicy margarita made with house-infused spicy tequila.
