Take a Hike in Salt Lake City
Discover nature’s beauty
Put on your hiking shoes, venture onto some of Salt Lake City’s most majestic hiking trails, and be in awe of the beauty that Utah has to offer.

The Living Room Trail
Located in Matheson State Park, The Living Room Trail is a 2.2-mile trail that lets you explore Utah’s nature. Bring your camera on this hiking excursion so you can capture the wildflowers and birds along the trail. Don’t forget to take a seat on the stacked stones that resemble chairs while you soak in the views.

Ensign Peak
Hike up Ensign Peak and be mesmerized by the views. As you follow the trailhead near Ensign Peak Nature Park, keep on the path as you hike towards the top of the peak and around the mountain. Once you reach the top, enjoy the panoramic views of Salt Lake Valley and see Salt Lake City’s skyline.

Utah Mountain Adventures
Instead of hiking up trails and mountains, Utah Mountain Adventures lets “hike” up rocks. If you forget to bring your rock climbing gear, no worries because there are rental stores in town that can provide you with the gear you need. Rock climb Utah’s beautiful Mt. Olympus or attend a rock climbing clinic where you will learn the basics of rock climbing.
