World’s Fair Park
World's Fair Park is the perfect place to enjoy Knoxville. The park hosted the 1982 World’s Fair and still has the structures from the celebration, you never know what festival or performance will take place on the park grounds. There’s always a place to cool off and play at The Court of Flag’s Interactive Fountain. The fountain and playground are both open year-round, and there’s also an events calendar you can check to see if you’ll catch a performance on the lawn while you’re visiting.
You can see the best view of Knoxville from the observation deck free of charge! The Sunsphere is the symbol of Knoxville; the entire structure is 266-ft high. Ride the elevator up to the 4th level Observation deck and enjoy the 360-degree view of downtown Knoxville, the Tennessee River, and the Smoky Mountains.
