Milwaukee Art Museum is not only one of the largest art museums in the U.S. but it’s also a work of art itself, it moves! The building “takes flight” three times a day at opening, noon, and close. The flying art museum on the banks of Lake Michigan displays over 20,000 works, including pieces by Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol and one of the largest collections by Georgia O’Keeffe.

Take a trip around the world at the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory. Better known as The Domes, the conservatory contains three enclosures where you can experience a desert oasis, a tropical jungle and shows that change with the seasons in a beautiful floral garden.

See over 100 years of American history through the eyes of one of America’s most iconic companies at the Harley-Davidson Museum. Dripping in innovation, adventure, and little bit of rebellion, you can see how this world-renown company has changed and grown with America over the past century through displays and interactive exhibits.

On the Water
Enjoy the sun and waves at Bradford Beach. Located on picturesque Lake Michigan, Bradford Beach is continually voted one of the top urban beaches in the nation. You can relax, grab some custard, soak up some rays, or join a friendly game of beach volleyball.

Float through downtown with the Milwaukee Kayak Company. There aren’t any rapids on the Milwaukee River (just scenic views) so all levels of experience are welcomed. You can also rent paddle-boards and canoes!
