Volunteering in the Community

Greyhound employees know firsthand the lasting effects on communities that come with giving time and resources. Donations are great (and we do that, too), but sometimes what's really needed is an extra pair of hands.

Our Helping Hound program

Helping Hound is our employee volunteer program. You might have already bumped into us at a fundraising drive, rubbed elbows at a community event, or even spotted us panting along a 10k charity race.

How it works:
Usually one of our staff, or the Helping Hounds committee finds a cause to support that is close to their heart or their home and gets other employees involved.
Or, an organization ask for volunteers, and we help recruit staff for them. Since we have employees all over the U.S., it's a great way to spread the word about a volunteering opportunity to a lot of people.

Some community organizations we partner with are Susan G. Komen, North Texas Food Bank and Meals on Wheels. We've been doing this for many years and we really enjoy getting involved. So, if you have a good cause and need some manpower, get in touch!

If you're an organization looking to recruit volunteers, please fill in our volunteer request form and we'll let you know how we can help.
