Now when you buy your bus ticket on greyhound.com from your desktop or your smartphone, you can choose to have a paperless E-Ticket delivered right to your smartphone – no waiting in lines, no waiting for an email ticket. Spend less time at the bus station and more time enjoying your trip!

How does it work?

When purchasing your ticket, simply select the E-Ticket option. Or, if you already purchased a Print-At-Home or Will Call ticket, you can change it to E-Ticket by clicking the "Get Your E-Ticket" button in your email confirmation or go to "Retrieve Your Booking" on our website and enter your confirmation number and last name.

Once you select the E-Ticket option, you’ll need to check-in to receive your E-Ticket on your smartphone. Check-In begins two hours prior to your scheduled departure time. We’ll send you a notice to remind you it’s time to check-in. Simply click the Check-In button and you’ll instantly see your E-Ticket. All tickets to all segments of your outbound trip will be displayed. If you have a roundtrip, simply check-in 2 hours before your schedule departure time, and you’ll instantly receive your E-Ticket for your return trip.

When it’s time to board the bus, please have your E-Ticket ready. Then, show it to the driver at bus-side and take your seat! It’s THAT easy!

E-Tickets are better!

Sign into your Road Rewards account, and you’ll have easy access to all your trips and ticket in one new convenient dashboard called My Trips. You’ll see all of your upcoming trips, have access to print your tickets, or get notifications on when you can check-in for your E-Ticket.

E-Ticket FAQ'S

How do I convert my Will Call ticket to an E-Ticket?

Converting your Will Call ticket to an E-Ticket is simple.

Here's what you do: 

  1. Open your booking confirmation email and tap the Get Your E-Ticket button
  2. Go to www.greyhound.com/retrievebooking and enter your confirmation number and last name.  Once your trip confirmation opens simply tap the Get Your E-Ticket button
  3. Road Rewards members can convert to E-Ticket by going to My Trips located in the Manage My Trips menu option on www.greyhound.com, tap Trip Details and click Get Your E-Ticket

Once I convert my Will Call ticket to an E-Ticket, can I still pick up my ticket from the station?

No, once you convert your Will Call ticket to an E-Ticket you will Not be able to pick up the paper copy from the kiosk or ticket counter.

If you'd still like to have a paper copy of your Will Call ticket, Do Not click the Get Your E-Ticket button from your confirmation page or email confirmation to convert to E-Ticket. 

How do I get my E-Ticket?

After selecting the E-Ticket option when purchasing your E-Ticket there are three ways you can access your E-Ticket from your smartphone

  1. Open your booking confirmation email and tap the Get Your E-Ticket button
  2. Go to  www.greyhound.com/retrievebooking and enter your confirmation number and last name.  Once you're trip confirmation opens simply tap the Get Your E-Ticket button
  3. Road Rewards members can access your E-Ticket from My Trips located in the Manage My Trips menu option on www.greyhound.com.

Why do I need to check-in?

Now that we've gone paperless, the process of checking in will generate your E-Ticket and let us know that you are boarding the bus.

What if I forget to check-in?

If you're a Road Rewards member, simply login to your account and tap the Manage My Trip tab to access My Trips dashboard and check-in. 

Not a Road Rewards member? We've still got you covered. You can check immediately from your confirmation email or www.greyhound.com/retrievebooking.

What if my child or someone in my party doesn’t have a smartphone?

Multiple E-Tickets can be viewed from the same device, but at least one person in your travel party must have a smartphone to use this service.

I’ve got my E-Ticket, now what do I do?

When it’s time to board the bus, have your smartphone ready to show your E-Ticket to the driver. 

How do I know if my trip is eligible for E-Ticket?

During Purchase 

  • If your trip is E-Ticket eligible the "E-Ticket" option will be auto selected on the payment page during checkout.

 After Purchase

  • If you've already purchased your ticket and want to see if your trip is eligible to be converted to an E-Ticket, simply go to Retrieve Your Booking, then enter your confirmation number and last name to pull up your booking confirmation page.  If you see the "Get Your E-Ticket" button, then your trip is eligible to be converted to an E-Ticket. If you do not see the "Get Your E-Ticket" button, then your trip is not eligible to be converted to an E-Ticket.
