    Summerfest will celebrate 50 years of the golden tradition of bringing the world to Milwaukee to rock out at Henry Maier Festival on the shores of Lake Michigan. This year’s celebration of summer will include posters, banners, and vintage memorabilia for festival goers and fans to explore the history of Summerfest, from its ‘founding fathers’ to revisiting some of the iconic performances from the past.

    There is no shortage of food at Summerfest, every year the festival releases a list of anticipated food and beverage vendors who are ready to sell and promote some of their most exclusive dishes. Last year some of the specialties included a deep-friend old -fashioned from Trinity Three Irish Pub, Falafel Curry Tacos from Vegabond, Prime Rib Chili Cheese Tater Tots from Ward’s House of Prime, and many more.     Even if you’re planning on stepping away from the festival a bit and visit some attractions around Milwaukee, you can take a visit to the Harley- Davidson Museum, or the Mitchell Park Conservatory aka “The Domes”.

  2. 2Pitchfork Music Festival

    Summertime in Chi-town’s Union Park always sounds like a good idea, and when there will be a festival full of hottest artists performing their chart-topping hits. Pitchfork has dedicated their platform to providing reviews and news for all things music, and this year’s lineup will be just as exciting and iconic as the past years.

  3. 3Newport Folk Festival

    Fort Adams State Park located in Newport, RI is the home of the Newport Folk Festival. The festival attracts thousands of folk and jazz-lovers that are prepared to celebrate music in any form, whether it’s dancing or being moved to tears.

    The late Chuck Berry was would have celebrated his 90th birthday this year, before his untimely passing, the festival, his family, and record label were collaborating to celebrate his birthday. The birthday celebration has is now a Tribute to Chuck and his legacy as the Father of rock n’ roll.

    Every August the streets of Reno, NV are filled with fans seeking a that feeling of nostalgia while watching a line of classic cars cruise down the street while the car owners bask in the moment. Hot August Nights has been a tradition in Reno since 1986, from drag racing and burnouts to the cup competition, and the events are happening this year August 8th-13th.

    Every Labor Day weekend Philadelphia transforms their historic Benjamin Franklin Parkway into a musical mania for Budweiser’s Made In America Festival.  The festival is completely curated by Jay-Z, and it’s his way of bringing music and culture together. This year’s lineup hasn’t been announced, but previously Rihanna, Pharrell, Coldplay, Kanye West, and J. Cole have graced the stage.

    For two consecutive three-day weekends, over 110 bands and plenty of fans hit Zilker Park in Austin, TX for the Austin City Limits Music Festival. ACL makes a promise to provide lots of music, the best bites in town, and local love. Usually big festivals are synonymous with an even bigger cleanup, buy “local love” is all about keeping the city clean and collaborating with community organizations to improve and save lives.
