DALLAS (July 17, 2000) -- Greyhound Lines now offers service leaving every 30 minutes from the New York Port Authority terminal to Atlantic City casinos, Sunday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to midnight, with additional service at 1:30 a.m. On Friday and Saturday, service is offered every 15 minutes from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., and at 12:30 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. Fifty-four schedules are offered on Saturday alone. Customers who purchase round trip tickets receive cash back and are eligible for the company's "open return" program, where passengers can return any time within four days of the purchased return.
"There was a demand for frequent service from New York to Atlantic City, and we're happy we can accommodate our passengers," said Nate Karp, director, special services. "Only Greyhound can offer this type of flexible round trip scheduling."
The company's Atlantic City casino service includes the following hotels and casinos: Taj Mahal, A.C. Hilton, Showboat, Trump Plaza, Resorts, Caesars, Bally's Park Place, Tropicana and the Sands. Greyhound operates dedicated casino service to Atlantic City from New York, Newark, Mt. Laurel, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington D.C.
