DALLAS (Feb. 12, 2008) – Greyhound Lines, Inc. today expanded its Road Rewards program to include customers purchasing tickets in terminals and over the phone. Road Rewards was previously a Web-based program to reward loyal customers who purchase tickets on Greyhound.com.
Customers who join the program receive points every time they purchase a Greyhound ticket and take a trip. Points can be applied toward free trips, discounts on companion fares, and discounts at any Greyhound food service location.
“This program allows us to reward loyalty, encouraging our most frequent riders to continue to choose Greyhound while also attracting new customers,” said Patty Herbeck, director of marketing, Greyhound Lines, Inc. “Since its launch in May 2006, more than 130,000 customers have enrolled in Road Rewards through Greyhound.com. The program progressed well and customers enjoyed the benefits, so now we’re ensuring that every customer has a chance to earn rewards.”
Forms are available in terminals so customers can register for the frequent rider program. Customers can also enroll when speaking to a ticket agent by phone or at Greyhound.com. Members will begin earning points toward their prizes immediately.
Road Rewards members will receive statements in the mail or via e-mail detailing point accumulations, or they can view their points and rewards by clicking on the Road Rewards link at Greyhound.com. Points accumulate and are good for a year. Other terms and conditions apply, and customers are invited to visit the Web site for more details.
