DALLAS (March 29, 2007) – Greyhound Lines, Inc., the largest provider of intercity bus transportation in North America, has awarded its advertising and marketing account to Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners (BSSP). The agency led an integrated partnership of leading independent agencies including Hispanic marketing agency The Vidal Partnership and the San Francisco office of global public relations agency Edelman.
Greyhound announced the assignment as it strives to rejuvenate its iconic brand. The company is in the midst of its comprehensive “Elevate Everything” program designed to improve the entire customer travel experience. The company has been pleased with the results and continues to implement at major locations across the country. The program includes newly refurbished and clean buses, terminal upgrades, new employee uniforms, and greatly enhanced customer service.
The agencies were selected following a review led by Jan Boyle of New York-based search consultancy, MatchWorks. The review was initiated in December 2006.
