Greyhound Offers E-saver Fares As Low As $20 Roundtrip To And From New York
 
DALLAS (Oct. 31, 2006) – Starting Nov. 1, Greyhound customers traveling in select Northeast cities can book a ticket online for as low as $12 one way or $20 roundtrip.

The e-Saver fares to and from New York are just in time for the busy holiday travel season. Customers also can avoid long lines at the ticket counters with the new e-ticketing feature, which allows them to print tickets purchased online and proceed straight to the gate. - Baltimore ($20 one way; $35 roundtrip)

- Boston ($15 one way; $30 roundtrip)

- Philadelphia ($12 one way; $20 roundtrip)

- Washington, D.C. ($20 one way; $35 roundtrip)

“Greyhound has always offered eSaver fares in select cities in the Northeast, and they have been quite popular with customers,” said Toby Purdy, chief marketing officer, Greyhound Lines Inc. “We recently added e-ticketing and will further enhance the travel experience in the Northeast through our Elevate Everything initiative this month. The new low fares is a way to reward our current customers while enticing new customers to try our improved service.”

The Elevate Everything initiative—launching in the Northeast Nov. 15—provides customers with an enjoyable travel experience by improving every customer touch point. Customers can wait in comfortable, clean and modernized terminals with ample seating, plasma screen televisions and be greeted by our friendly staff there to handle every travel need.

Food service and other retail amenities have also been upgraded in certain locations. During their trip, customers can benefit from a clean, newly refurbished buses, featuring comfortable reclining seats, with lumbar support, movable armrests and straps for reading material.
