DALLAS (June 12, 2000) - Autobuses Latinos de Greyhound now offers an express service between Chicago and Houston.
The schedule leaves the Chicago terminal located at 2139 California Avenue at 6 p.m. Friday and Tuesday evening, arriving in Houston at the Americanos terminal at 7000 Harrisburg at 3:20 p.m. the next day. A return schedule leaves Houston at 7 p.m. Saturdays and Wednesdays, arriving in Chicago at 3:30 p.m. the next day.
Through July 15, a special one-way ticket fare of $79 and a round-trip fare of $149 will be available. After the special offer, a one-way ticket will be $85 and a round-trip costs $159.
"This new schedule will connect the Chicago suburbs to the Rio Grande Valley and offer passengers an affordable, quick travel option between the two points," said Mike Narvaez, manager, Latino operations.
