Ride. Win. Party with Flex.; Greyhound provides chance to win a trip to the Third Annual VIBE Awards with Funkmaster Flex
 
DALLAS (Oct. 3, 2005) – What could be more hip than attending this year’s VIBE Awards in Los Angeles? How about arriving at the awards in a newly customized Greyhound bus designed by hip-hop personality and custom car fanatic, Funkmaster Flex?

Greyhound Lines, Inc., is giving 10 customers and their friends a chance to win a night at the VIBE Awards with Flex. Riders traveling on Greyhound will receive a promotional code on each ticket. By going to www.greyhound.com, customers can enter their name and the code for a chance to win a trip for two to the VIBE Awards. Riders, who must be at least 21 years old, may increase their opportunity to win by frequently riding Greyhound until Oct. 31, 2005. Details about the promotion can be found at www.greyhound.com.

“The ‘Ride. Win. Party with Flex’ sweepstakes is the beginning of a larger grassroots marketing campaign called ‘Greyhound Unleashed,’ which targets our young, urban customers. Flex is known for customizing celebrity vehicles on his ESPN 2 TV program, “All Muscle with Funkmaster Flex.” The redesigned Greyhound bus will debut its newly renovated “Flexterior” at the Third Annual VIBE Awards on UPN airing nationwide, Nov. 15. Flex will renovate the interior of the bus, which can be seen on an upcoming episode of “All Muscle with Funkmaster Flex,” when the final bus is unveiled.

“Greyhound is a national brand icon and I thought it would be cool to customize one of their buses,” said Funkmaster Flex. “ They are a great partner and I’m excited to take on this project. Once it’s finished, everyone will be talking about how hot that Greyhound bus is and looking for its next appearance.”
