Greyhound Package Express Can Ship Packages Christmas Eve and Deliver Christmas Day

DALLAS (December 11, 2000) – For all the late Christmas shoppers, Greyhound Lines’ package delivery service, Greyhound Package Express (GPX), can ship packages as late as Christmas Eve and deliver them the next day.

“We’re not like the major shipping companies because we use the Greyhound Lines bus system to ship packages, so we never close and we always deliver because our buses don’t stop running during the holidays,” said Dave Phillips, general manager, GPX. “And in some instances, especially with large packages, we ship for half the price of our competitors.”

GPX offers GPX Direct Same Day service if the destination is within a 300-mile radius. GPX Direct Overnight can deliver early morning within a 500-mile radius.
