The Landmark Theatre will certainly be one of the most beautiful buildings you step into while in Syracuse. Built in 1927, this historic theatre was designed in the era of “movie palaces.” The inside is decorated in rich red and gold colors, tapestries, murals, and a grand staircase. The theatre still hosts many events throughout the year, so you can see a live show or sometimes even a movie screening.

Your New York trip isn’t complete without indulging in some great pizza. Although Peppino’s Neapolitan isn’t authentic New York style pizza, it’s still a favorite among the locals. Using 160-year-old traditions straight from Italy, the pizza is made fresh with locally sourced ingredients and toppings. Not in the mood for pizza? They also serve homemade pasta, sandwiches, soups and salads!

You might not think bar-b-que when you think New York, but Dinosaur Bar-B-Que is a local staple. Although there are several branches throughout the northeast, Syracuse boasts the original location. Make sure to stop by for some tasty food and live music.
