Hot Chicken Takeover is exactly what the name states, a takeover of Nashville’s signature Hot Chicken in Columbus, OH. The owner paid a visit to Nashville and loved the dish so much, not just for the taste, but for the way people bonded and interacted while enjoying it that he decided to try making it at home. The experiments to perfect the recipe went from the owner sharing it with friends to selling it out of a parking lot to now having three locations in Columbus. What’s on the menu? Well…chicken of course! You can also mix and match the sides which are Ma’s Mac, Ma’s Slaw, or baked beans.
