Greyhound Relocates in Shreveport, La.

Company will share newly opened facility with city transit

DALLAS (Jun. 21, 2018) – Greyhound, the largest provider of intercity bus transportation, today announced it began operations this week from the SporTran Intermodal Terminal in Shreveport, La. Situated approximately two miles from its former location, Greyhound’s new home is located at 1237 Murphy St.

“Sharing our new location with city transit allows us to make seamless connectivity to local transportation easier than ever for our customers,” said Evan Burak, regional vice president, Greyhound Lines, Inc. “The SporTran Intermodal Terminal is a critical resource for the Shreveport community and we are excited to continue providing service to city residents from our new location.”

The SporTran Intermodal Terminal is a newly developed facility which opened its doors Nov. 2017.  From this location, Greyhound customers will have access to a bicycle repair station, food truck court, convenience store and more.

From Shreveport, Greyhound offers 15 daily schedules, connecting the community to locations such as Dallas, New Orleans, Atlanta, Tallahassee and Nashville, where customers can access Greyhound’s extensive network of 3,800 destinations across North America.
