Greyhound, the largest provider of intercity bus transportation, today announced it began operations on March 26 from its newly relocated stop in Weed, Calif. Situated approximately one mile from its former location, customers can now board Greyhound at the Dos Amigos Mexican Restaurant located at 175 E. Vista Dr.
“Greyhound has served the Weed community for over 40 years, making it a familiar and reliable travel choice for local residents,” said Ed van Heel, regional manager, customer experience, Greyhound Lines, Inc. “Our new stop is in one of the busiest locations in Weed, effectively increasing access for the community.”
The new stop is within walking distance of two local gas stations, providing customers with access to food, restrooms and convenience goods.
Located between the cities of Medford, Ore. and Redding, Calif., the new stop will provide Weed residents with two northbound and three southbound schedules each day where customers can connect to Greyhound’s extensive network of 3,800 destinations across North America.
