DALLAS (May 24, 2016) – Greyhound today announced it will add a second daily roundtrip schedule between Arcata, Calif. and San Francisco, offering customers more flexibility to travel. Now customers in the Eureka-Arcata community can select from a morning or night schedule to San Francisco with stops in Willits, Calif., Santa Rosa, Calif. and Oakland.
In Arcata, Greyhound customers can conveniently board at the Arcata Transit Center and make connections at locations served by community transit agencies, including the Arcata & Mad River Transit Agency, as well as the Redwood Coast Transit System, which serves Arcata, Crescent City, Calif. and Smith River, Ore.
Service along the Arcata – San Francisco route is available at the following locations:
Arcata: Arcata Transit Center – 925 E. Street
Eureka: Greyhound Station – 1603 4th St.
Willits: McDonald’s – 1488 Main St.
Santa Rosa: Lola’s Market – 440 Dutton Ave. #9
Oakland: Oakland Bus Station – 2103 San Pablo Ave.
San Francisco: Greyhound Station – 200 Folsom St.

Funded through the Federal Transit Administration’s 5311(f) program and the California Department of Transportation (CalTrans), this service connects rural communities with major cities, providing an alternate transportation option for Humboldt County residents as well as Humboldt State University students. Customers traveling between Arcata and San Francisco can enjoy a comfortable ride with modern amenities, including free onboard Wi-Fi, power outlets, extra legroom and reclining leather seats.
