DALLAS (Dec 11, 2015) – Greyhound, the largest provider of intercity bus transportation, will start operations from a new location in Fresno on Thursday, Dec. 17. Greyhound customers will conveniently board at the Santa Fe Passenger Depot, located at 2660 Tulare St., less than a mile from Greyhound’s former location at 1033 H St.
The company will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the momentous occasion on Tuesday, Dec. 15, in which the Mayor of Fresno and Greyhound executives will be in attendance, including Myron Watkins, vice president of customer experience.
“Greyhound is excited to partner with the City of Fresno to offer customers a more convenient location just in time for the Christmas holiday,” said Dave Leach, president and CEO, Greyhound Lines, Inc. “We appreciate the City’s dedication and commitment to this project, and with their assistance, we’re now able to operate from this new location with our affordable, reliable and convenient service. It will also offer seamless connectivity between regional intercity bus service and Amtrak under one roof, and Greyhound’s network of 3,800 destinations across North America.
From the new location, Greyhound offers 26 daily schedules to destinations across the United States, including San Francisco, Los Angeles and Sacramento, Calif. This location is open 24 hours per day, seven days per week and provides convenient access to a convenience store, Yosemite Freeway and Greyhound Package Express®.
