Greyhound Continues to Expand Express Service in the Southeast, Adding Birmingham and Memphis as New Markets; Premium Service Provides Direct Service, Guaranteed Seats and Free Wi-Fi Starting at $1
DALLAS (Nov. 1, 2011) — Greyhound today announced it continues to expand its premium Greyhound Express™ service in the Southeast by adding new routes from its Atlanta hub to Birmingham, Ala. and Memphis, Tenn. Service begins Nov. 15 and tickets are now on sale, with fares starting at $1 at www.mygreyhoundexpress.com. The new routes are the latest addition to the rapidly expanding Express service, which entered the Southeast on Sept. 7.
In addition, the company announced that due to the success of Greyhound Express in the United States, it will introduce the premium service to markets in Canada. Service between Calgary, Edmonton, Fort McMurray and Red Deer in the province of Alberta will launch Nov. 14 and tickets went on sale today at www.greyhound.ca/express.

In Birmingham, customers can board at the Greyhound terminal on 618 N. 19th Street. In Memphis, Greyhound Express will operate from the brand new modern and LEED-certified intermodal facility located at the Memphis International Airport.
Greyhound Express provides customers with direct service on new buses with reserved seating, free Wi-Fi access, power outlets and extra legroom. Customers can relax in private waiting areas with a guest services specialist dedicated to providing an extra level of customer service.
Since Greyhound first launched Express in December 2010, the service has rapidly expanded to more than 30 markets in the Midwest, Northeast and Southeast, with new service being introduced in Canada. Customers can buy their Express ticket online to take advantage of discount pricing, print their ticket at home, or pick it up at a self-service ticketing kiosk, and know a guaranteed seat is waiting for them.
