(DALLAS) April 10, 2000 - Greyhound Lines, Inc. has relocated its Fernley, Nevada agency to the Pilot Travel Center at 865 West Main Street, approximately one mile from the former agency on Interstate 80.
Pilot Corporation develops Pilot Travel centers, which are travel stops that house fast food chains and convenience stores. The new location in Fernley will include DQ Treats, Wendy's, a convenience store, an ATM machine and several pay phones.
"Pilot Travel Centers and Greyhound are committed to improving customer service," said area sales manager Carlos Ramirez. "The fast food restaurants and other vendors in the location will provide the convenience that our passengers want."
Initially, the agency will serve as a "Flag Stop," a location where passengers can wait for a passing bus. However, ticket sales will follow in the near future. The agency offers service between Reno, Nevada and Salt Lake City, Utah, allowing connections throughout North America.
Greyhound Lines, Inc. is the largest North American provider of intercity bus transportation, serving more than 3,700 destinations with 20,000 daily departures across the continent. The company also provides package and courier express service, charter and tour services and food service at certain terminals.
