DALLAS (March 31, 2010) – Greyhound Lines, Inc., the largest provider of intercity bus transportation, recently awarded Motor Coach Industries (MCI) a contract for 70 MCI® D4505 coaches. Delivery of these motorcoaches will begin in June 2010. “We are pleased to continue our long and well-established relationship with MCI,” said Dave Leach, president and CEO of Greyhound. “These new coaches will enhance the Greyhound experience to a new level of comfort with the addition of free Wi-Fi, leather seating, power plug- ins and extra legroom, offering a more luxurious travel experience for our customers. In addition, we will continue to provide affordable and environmentally friendly transportation.” Greyhound’s new D4505 coaches will be equipped with three-point seatbelts and plush leatherette passenger seating for 50, compared to the typical 55-seat configuration, giving riders significantly more legroom.
