Greyhound Relocates Facility in Greensboro, North Carolina, to New Downtown Intermodal

Beginning Aug. 11, Greyhound Lines, Inc. will join the Greensboro Transit Authority (GTA), the city's public transportation system, in the new downtown intermodal transportation center at 234-A East Washington Street. The intermodal facility known as "The Depot" is an old train station that was remodeled to serve as the local ground transportation center.

“Greyhound has proudly served the Greensboro community for more than 70 years and will continue to do so,” said Ray Robinson, district manager, District 2, Greyhound Lines, Inc. “By relocating our agency to the new intermodal transportation center, we are providing our customers more convenient connections to the entire Greyhound network, and the city's transportation services offered by the Greensboro Transit Authority, all under one roof.”

The new Greyhound facility is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week including holidays, and offers 20 daily schedules to destinations across the United States including Charlotte and Asheville, N.C., Norfolk, Va., Atlanta, Ga., New Orleans, La., Washington, D.C. and New York, N.Y.

Located one-half mile from the former Greyhound agency in Greensboro, the new location also provides Greyhound PackageXpress (GPX) delivery and Western Union. The former agency operated from 501 W. Lee Street. For ticket information in Greensboro call 336-272-8950 and for GPX or baggage information call 336-272-9117.
