Greyhound Prepares for July Fourth Holiday

Note to editors: If you’re planning on writing a story about July Fourth holiday travel, don’t forget about Greyhound. With more than 3,700 locations in the U.S. and Canada, we have five times the amount of destinations than Amtrak and the airlines combined. You’re invited to visit our terminals to see how people are “going Greyhound.”

WHAT:

Greyhound is finalizing its preparations for July Fourth travel. Last year during the 11-day holiday travel period, Greyhound carried nearly one million passengers home to visit family and friends.

HOW:

It’s not too late to take advantage of Greyhound specials for holiday travel. Savings include Greyhound eSavers fares, which offer 10 percent off certain schedules when customers purchase tickets through www.greyhound.com. Customers also can travel to thousands of destinations on fares as low as $15, and Super Friendly Fares offer customers the lowest rate on seven-day advance purchase tickets, starting at $49. Restrictions may apply on these special fares. Super Friendly Fare blackout dates are July 3 through July 6.
