DALLAS (Nov. 10, 2000) - Greyhound, the largest provider of intercity bus travel in North America, is rolling out new products under its business unit, Greyhound Travel Services, at the National Tour Association conference this Friday in Salt Lake City. GTS will offer customers Greyhound Vacations, Charters, Destination Management, Sightseeing and Shore Services, as well as prepackaged tour options for the independent traveler.
"Through the acquisition of several North American companies and a dedicated charter fleet, as well as using our existing Greyhound fleet, we are able to expand our product line within the rapidly growing leisure market," said Gordon Barr, senior vice president, GTS. "We are really in the entertainment business and have expanded offerings of adventure tours, attractions and city packages, so it's a natural progression for us. I'm glad we can offer a wide range of affordable vacation opportunities."
On January 1, 2001, the company will offer Greyhound Vacations - getaway packages throughout North America from New York City to New Orleans, La. to Los Angles to the Pacific Northwest. Packages will range from a single night stay to seven night tours. The independent package tours are created to suit individual customer needs and price ranges.

Greyhound Sightseeing packages are available through its Gray Line units including New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Biloxi, Victoria, Vancouver, Ottawa, Toronto and Whistler. A Greyhound branded sightseeing product will be introduced in Southern California.
Tours range from a two-hour Ghosts and Spirits tour in New Orleans' French Quarter for US $18 to Whale Watching on high-speed cruisers in Vancouver, British Columbia for US $99.
